- When you sign up on Awoofshop, we ask for your personal information so that we can provide you with the service. For sellers, we also require you to provide your bank account number, and in some situations, your personal address, your business category, a government-issued identification number (for example, utility bills or your bank account name, account number for verification), and certain information about your sales or transaction volume.

We will not sell or rent your personal information to companies or individuals outside of Blue Waffle Technology. If you are making a purchase through Awoofshop, we may share portions of your details with the seller to identify the transaction, but we will not share your full bank details with the seller without your opt-in consent, except in the limited circumstances described below.

* Our secure server software encrypts all of your personal information including credit card number, name, and address so that such data cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet. The encryption process takes the characters you enter and converts them into bits of code that are securely transmitted over the Internet.

* Your personal information is also transferred using 128-bit SSL encryption, and we store information with additional high level encryption. Our databases are not accessible without a username and password.

* Be aware that your Internet browser can also factor into the security of the transaction. Older browser software might not support 128-bit SSL, and those browsers will roll back to 40-bit encryption. You should always update your browser software and/or apply any security patches available for the software.

* Most banks either cover all the charges that result from unauthorized use of your credit card or may limit your liability

* If your bank holds you liable, Awoofshop may cover your liability provided that the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made at awoofshop.co.za
